EARLY DANCE MUSIC. (DM1-20)

Our series with this title contains almost all the surviving French and Italian dance music from the Renaissance, together with massive selections from Michael Praetorius' famous Terpsichore. It includes the three collections by Jean d'Estrées, a Parisian town band musician, with the missing parts restored, as well as all the pieces published by Jacques Moderne. The three volumes of early 16th-century Italian dances include all the classics, such as La rocha el fuso, La bataglia, Zorzi etc.

THE ATTAINGNANT DANCE PRINTS (AD1-7)

Contains all the dances published by Pierre Attaingnant from 1529 to 1557, with the various collections attributed to Pierre Attaingnant, Claude Gervaise and Etienne du Tertre.

PLAYFORD DANCES (LPM 102)
